Additional Services
Rotator Cuff Therapy ~ uses specific techniques to keep your shoulder muscles flexible, reduce pain and stiffness and increase range of motion. This therapy is suitable as a preventative therapy or for someone who has had a past injury.
Add $5 for 30 min, $10 for 60 min etc.
Myofascial Release ~ works on the fascia, a continuous spiderweb-like system connective tissue extending throughout the body. Fascia surrounds all tissues and organs of the body. When fascia becomes compromised, it creates tension on adjacent as well as distant areas. Symptoms include: burning, tingling, pulling, poor posture, difficulty breathing, and loss of flexibility. Pressure of myofascial release ranges from gentle to very deep, inducing relaxation of the affected tissue.
Add $5 for 30 min, $10 for 60 min etc.
Cupping ~ utilizes soft rubber cups or plastic cups attached to a small, hand-operated pump. The practitioner uses the cup to create a vacuum to stretch and mobilize soft tissue. By pulling the soft tissue away from underlying tissues and structures, all tissue, including fascia, benefit from this treatment. Add $5 per session.
Essential Oils ~ Essential Oils can be used during massage upon request. There is no extra charge for this service. We also have an in-house Aromatherapist, owner of Envi Botanicals, Angela Batson. For more about her offerings go HERE.
Reiki ~ Reiki, an ancient Japanese healing technique, is used to promote physical, mental and spiritual balance throughout the body. Reiki works with the subtle vibrational (energy) fields that surround and penetrate the body. (Reiki is commonly translated from the Japanese as universal life energy.) A Reiki session with Jackie is $45.
